    Awesome news -- got my S-Booster

    And it makes a very large improvement in the sound.

    I bought only the SBooster and added it to the stock PS. Excellent investment.

    Thought you all would be happy and interested to hear that.

    You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...

    From memory the site mentions that it uses a (ferrite) choke and (a series of) capacitors (in parallel).

    couldn't find that... but it does make it clear it isn't just a "passive filter" so would seem to be more than a classic c+l+c design, If there's a choke in there it must be small (so low inductance). I'd like to see the output on a scope...

    Curiously enough, my thoughts on it echo the first (one-post history) reviewer that got mocked:

    the sound is more spacial, there is more rest in the sound.
    That is what I heard in my system as well. (analogue outputs, no external DAC).
