    Rhapsody's 502 proxy error???

Does anyone else experience this problem? When I try to get into "my library>albums" I get the error message "502 proxy error". I cannot play any of my stored music. I can get into the "new music" but this has just a limited number of albums. Any fix for this. Rhapsody customer service recommended that I contact Logitech and then get back to Rhapsody so they could expidite the solution. Anyone having the similar problem? Thank you.

The preceding post seems to be an ongoing problem that I am having with the Rhapsody service. To me it seems like a major flaw to the Rhapsody functionality. Does anyone have a fix for the inaccessibility to the main personal library of Rhapsody? Do any other premium subscribers have the same problem? Thank you.

I don't use that view, I usually choose Artists. I did try it a moment ago and got the 502 error.

    Getting Same 502 Proxy Error

I'm getting the same error right now when trying to access my Rhapsody library. I'e seen this off-and-on oer the last several weks. If I use the search function under Rhapsody, I can access any music I want. I'm using version 7.5.3.

I use this menu item often and have never seen this problem. Just tried now and it works. Running a recent SBS 7.6.

    Angry

I've had this problem for a year. For a few months I got "timed out waiting for data." In November it changed to the 502 proxy error message. I also get it occasionally with Artists and Genres.

I've talked to Rhapsody level 2 support four times in the last week or so (not an uplifting experience, by the way). On Monday they patched me in to Katie at Squeezebox support. She said that Logitech was working on the bug to see if it was their or Rhapsody's problem and that it was in the bugs database. I did not find it. I've just emailed her (hopefuly) to see if she can tell me more.

In fact, as I am now using SBS, when I get the 502 error I can no longer access my Rhapsody library in any form, albums, artists, or genres (I have to use search).

I get the same thing. I tried loading different versions of squeezebox server (7.5.3 and 7.6) and it doesn't change the symptoms. It seems to be solidly broken as I haven't been able to use artists, albums, etc for my Rhapsody library for a couple of weeks. Search works, but it would be good to get it fully back up and running.

I've been in contact with Rhapsody technical support several times. They tried to push it off onto Squeezebox, but SB technical support says it's not them. And that makes sense to me, especially as I have a similar problem when using straight rhapsody.com.

I suggest getting in touch with Rhapsody tech support; the more who report this problem, the greater chance they'll fix it. I'm going to set up another call with them this week.

I've had this problem off and on (mostly on)for a quite a while. Sometimes I can view my library by authors but not by anything else, sometimes by nothing, and sometimes (rarely) by any category. Sometimes doing the following seems to fix it: go to mysqueezebox.com and remove Rhapsody as one of "My apps". Then reinstall the app. Then exit and restart the device and/or application that was getting the error. Try again. The "fix" only works about half the time, and then it may be short-lived. I agree that this problem is a major one for my use of my squeezebox devices and the Rhapsody music service. It would be in both of their interests to get together and figure out what the hell is going on.

Unlike some others, I don't think I've ever seen this error while using the windows rhapsody program directly. Only when I try to go through the SB server.
