I have tried to use the FishboneCB skin but get a number of problems, and have reverted to the ClassicCB skin.
The main problem is that it gets out of sync with itself. Sometimes some other item other than the 'now playing' item is highlighted in the playlist, and the problem doesn't go away after time (even when the next item plays). In addition, when selecting the track for detail display in the left hand pane, the information is sometimes for a previous item, not the current one.
I haven't tried with another browser yet (I'm using Chrome).
I prefer FishboneCB because it displays the track time (which ClassicCB doesn't) and a couple of other track highlights in the header.
Has anyone else had similar problems?

Do you see the same problem in the standard "Fishbone" skin ?

I'll try. Can you let me know what the difference is between CB ones and standard?
Apologies if it's obvious to everyone, but it isn't clear to me - I thought I had to use the ...CB ones to make CustomBrowse work - is that not the case?.

I had assumed that, but there's clearly something fundamental I'm missing.
If I choose Fishbone, rather than FishBoneCB, I can still get to my classical menu (because it's at the top level menu?) and select, say, works by composer. It all seems to work, so what's the fundamental difference? I'm sorry I keep saying I don't understand, but there's clearly something basic I am missing.
Using FisboneCB I've also been trying to modify the track details to show the disc number when selecting a track. Even if I modify track.cb.context.xml from the custom browse editor, and save it, nothing seems to change. I tried changing a piece of text (eg TrackNo to TrackxNo), but nothing changed. I have changed it, and can see it if I look at the xmls directlt. I've stopped and restarted SB. No change.
However, if I introduce a fault in the sql (by deleted the 'is' before 'is not null', I get an error message that shows my modified sql (which it then promptly ignores). It's all very strange.

I changed to Fishbone, and it has the same problem as FishboneCB. If you change the track, the playlist is correct, but the 'now playing' box at the top doesn't change and shows the previously playing track.
Should I cross post to some other forum, since it's clearly not a custom problem?

Check at http://bugs.slimdevices.com and see if you can find a bug registered for it, if there isn't one already I suggest that you register a new one. If you register a new one, register the bug for the standard Fishbone skin. You don't have to mention FishboneCB in the bug report, just post a link to the bug report in this thread and I'll add it to my watch list and fix FishboneCB after Logitech has corrected the bug in Fishbone skin.

Apologies, but after several more trials I can't get it to fail with Fishbone, but FishboneCB fails each time. I think I must have failed to save the interface change.
The details are:
I get a track playing, then select another track and 'play'. The playlist changes but the now playing at the top doesn't.
I'll try with firefox and let you know.

Just tried it. Firefox does the same as Chrome.
Interestingly the timeline at the top showing how much of the track is left does change, but the data below doesn't. If I select the track from 'now playing' I get the previous track info. If I select the playlist track below I get the right data.

I have now done a series of tests as methodically and carefully as I can.
Fishbone is OK. FishboneCB isn't. In every case with the latter, if I change track whilst it is playing the 'now playing' track info at the top doesn't change (except the timeline bar), even though the new track is playing. If I reload the frame (using Chrome right click on the right hand pane) it loads the correct data. That means I do have a manual fix for this, so it's not too much of an issue.
Once again, apologies for messing you about and time you have wasted. I will try to stop posting until I really am sure about stuff. It's too tempting to ask for help rather than bash away on one's own. I'll be keeping quiet for a while.......
