Radio screen dimming?

There are lots of threads concerning Controller screens dimming over time if left on continuously and was wondering if the radio screens would also suffer. I normally have mine set to display the clock 24/7 when in standby mode but maybe this is a bad idea. On the other hand I would expect a "clock radio" to be capable of displaying time continuously without issue for many years.

I was asking myself the same question. My assumption is that the display (backlight) will be the first part to break. On this day the radio will turn into a receiver with lots of useless knobs
