I am running the most recent firmware and currently running 7.5.4 nightly beta - but it behaved the same way with 7.5.3.
If the Radio loses power, when it powers back up, it gets stuck when I try to connect to my local server wirelessly.
However, if I use the web interface, I can play the correct music thru the Radio, but the radio itself will not connect to the server - times out.
If I connect the radio to an ethernet cable, I can connect to ethernet. I can then connect to wireless and the Radio will then find the server. I can then disconnect the ethernet cable and all is usually fine until I lose power or unplug the Radio w/out first turning it off.
Obviously, the power disconnect issue is lessened if I have a battery pack connected, but it also exhibits the same behavior if the power is on, the Radio is connected via wired ethernet and the ethernet cable is unhooked - The Radio will reconnect to a wireless connect properly, but it then cannot connect to the server.
I recently acquired a second used radio, and its behavior is identical.
All thoughts appreciated !
Thanks.

Any chance your WiFi network name is not unique to your WiFi?
IOW: If your WiFi network name is "Linksys" your Radio may be connecting to your neighbors "Linksys" WiFi, where it would never see your server.
Just a thought.

Thanks ...
That's a good thought, but not likely -
We live in a neighborhood of 5 acre lots - With Netstumbler, I can see one neighbor with wireless, but the signal is much oot weak to hold a connection.
My SB#'s and a SB Boom do not behave this way.

I was wondering if this problem was resolved in the end? I've got exactly the same problem. I could connect to my squeezebox server through my Squeezebox Radio, then all of a sudden it stopped connecting. I can still connect to mysqueezebox.com though.

Quick update on my situation: I did a factory reset and everything came back to life. A fun 10 minutes of my life spent setting the thing up again :|
Hope this isn't a regular occurrence. I've owned this for a few months now. Fine piece of kit, but with some serious software issues.
The thread owner might still require assistance, so please help them!
