    Error: Couldn't create command line for wav playback for...

    Hi

    Just upgraded to the latest Squeezebox Server v7.5.2 (r31632) running on Vista. I have two hardware players - a Squeezebox classic (wireless) and a SLIMP3.

    I'm trying to play some .WAV files that have played fine on the SLIMP3 in the past, but now give the error:

    [11-01-09 18:50:59.5711] Slim::Player::Song:pen (408) Error: Couldn't create command line for wav playback for [file:///M:/mp3/abc.wav]

    The Squeezebox classic is able to play the files without a problem. I tried completely uninstalling, rebooting, and re-installing (which incidently fixed the initial problem I had of the classic player giving the same error as well).

    Any suggestions much appreciated...

    Thanks

    "Couldn't create command line" error

    Just an update - I tried installing the same Squeezebox server, on a new Windows 7 box, and have exactly the same issue.

    Am I in the right forum?

    Cheers
