Question a "before i buy" question......

I have a stereo wired to my pc, so sound comes from the stereo and not the pc. If I buy a squeezebox radio, will i be able to play the same music on my pc (and out of my stereo) as will be playing in the next room on my squeezebox radio, so I can listen to the same music at the same time in 2 rooms?

Yes, there are several software "squeezeboxes" that can play and sync with the hardware squeezeboxs. However this does not play "what's on your PC". The squeezeboxs play what is being streamed to them by the squeezebox server. (or mysqueezebox.com)

Be warned, however, that synchronization between a "software" player (you would run either SqueezePlay, SoftSqueeze or squeezeslave as a "player" on your PC) and the hardware players is not "perfect". I use squeezeplay regularly on my PC and it works fine by itself, but I've not had much luck synchronizing with my hardware players. Even when they are synchronized, there will most likely be a bit of "out-of-synch" (delay between the two signals).
Synchronizing hardware players, however, works very well.
