Hi all
Since I dropped unintentionally my SBT on the floor, some serious functions do not work at all:
Connecting LAN or WLAN to the SBT for internet access, it freezes and than shooting down for a re-start and repeats the play till removing the connections.
By trying to push the factory setting- or the on/off button: its stop’s and shoots again down as before.
Else, I can run through the display or even see all files on my PC via WINscp- fore once with LAN connection.
So, could it be software- or a hardware failure and if software how can I reset?

Malfunctions after a drop down

I doubt dropping will harm software - tends to bounce well ;-) You may well have loosened something on the board - and this could give some erratic behavior. If you are adventurous (ad this will void your warranty) open it up and see if any of the cards are loose....
Some of the folks on the DIY forum may be able to help with what is likely to be rattled and where to poke.Squeezcenter running on ACER R1600 Windows XP

Opening a Touch is easy but it is NOT advisable unless you know exactly what you are doing as it is very easy to damage the delicate connections to the screen.
I'd advise contacting Logitech to see about a warranty replacement...You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...

Ok, how can I check via remote SSH the log-script?
This connection should work, while I could find the reason of any mulfanction.
Further, how can I make a software-reset through this connection if possible?
(Remember- the reset button will not work)
I opened the SBT and broke in my hurry a piece of the ambitient light sensor (below the black soft plastic cover), but I do not think this will effect any subroutins of the software....
Thanks
Jacky
