Exactly. I don't use the web ui that much, but if I'm at the computer already I'm more likely to use the web ui than to get up to get the SBC, IR remote, or Nokia N800. Now that my SB Radio is on my desk it's a toss-up whether I use the web ui or reach over to the front panel controls for that.
And in this particular case maybe the OP has an iPhone, iPod Touch, Droid, or something else.

I sometimes use my netbook for that, on parties usualy

But imho even a laptop is to noisy to keep in the listening room, maybe I should play louder ?
I was mainly refering to thoose who only have one computer runing sbs on the very same laptop on that coffe table ?
Sometimes I have an orgy in controll surfaces all squeezeboxes synced all my PC's on with the web-UI up and running, wherever I turn i can control the music this works if you have a party wherever one turns you can controll music
