Album review and Biography not working

HI

We have not been able to get Album review or Biography to work in SBS or on the Duet for weeks now.

I have reinstalled the plug-ins but this did not get the service running. Initially there was the message: Network problem try later. Now SBS keeps connecting to Allmusic to no avail.

Has anybody got help? We are really missing these super plug-ins!

Are you running 2.7.3? I've pushed out another update earlier today which should fix the latest issues with allmusic.com changes.

You might probably need to wipe its cache (to be found in the plugins' settings page).

I've just installed your latest release and found that it has fixed the connection problems but think that I have found another issue.

Where an item is listed with multiple artists, in this case the album Mirrorball which I have listed both Neil Young and Pearl Jam as the artists, when I select the biography option I get what looks like the AMG list of possible artists (like you sometimes get when you search directly in AMG) but you cannot actually select and of the artists to get the correct biography. In this instance the list is correctly ordered with Neil Young and Pearl Jam as the first 2 options.

In iPeng if you try to select a single artist from the list it highlights all artists in the list, whereas in SqueezePlay it does not highlight anything at all. In bith cases you can proceed no further, i.e. you cannot actually get to a biography.

Please let me know if you need firther information.

.. also get it with anything with 'michael' in the name, was looking up George Michael the other day and it returned a whole list of matches and would not let me select anything.

I also have a problem with connection issues using the latest version of plugin that was released today.

Album review 2.9.3 Biography 2.9.0 Reinstalled this afternoon CET.

Same here with album review i get an enormous list of for example Beatles reviews. With discography i get, can not connect to network.

Above all I have to thank you for working on the problem.

Please wipe the plugin's cache (Settings/Advanced/AlbumReview) and try
again.

Apologies, I guess I wasn't specific enough in my description of the problem. In my instance both Album Review and Biography work when you select the context menu at the album level.

However, when you bring up the context menu from a selected track on the album then Album Review works but Biography still fails as described in my last post.

I have cleared the cache on both options in Settings/Advanced/AlbumReview and Biography.

Re-wiped the cache just now. Review is running ok on the Duet! In SBS it works but seems to fall into some loop where it keeps on reconnecting to the same page. Resulting in a flickering screen.

Biography is not working, still the network problem.

Using the Ipad i have no connecting problems, but you cant read the full biographie.It starts then after some lines there comes" read more" but you cant read more, because you cant switch to another side.The same with album review.

I have the same problem. Always <read more> at the end, while before all text of the artist could be read.

Any ideas or is this just because allmusic.com changed something?
