The scanner will start automatically on a restart after a cache clear (because it can see the database has been cleared, so it attempts to fill it.
You should not abort the scan!).

The 1067 error indicates a corrupt my.ini file (amongst other possibilities).

You may also have a corrupt prefs file.

    Try this:
    1) go back into the SBS control panel - Advanced, check both Delete Prefs AND clear cache and then Run Cleanup.

    2) wait a few minutes and then uninstall SBS from the start menu, reboot PC and then reinstall SBS 7.5.2

    3) when SBS eventually restarts, it should be scanning. DO NOT ABORT THE SCAN. Wait...

    4) Hopefully the scan will complete. You can look in scanner.log while it is scanning to see if there are any error messages.
Thankyou my friend I did as your instruction, and all is up and running. The SB has started scanning properly. This is a brilliant forum with such helpfull members, I can't thank you all enough.
    Cheers,
    Tim.
