    Glad you like it!

Who knows what's going to happen .... certainly the politicians don't have a clue.

I think more mention should be made of the role of Vulture Capitalists in all this euro turmoil.

I don't disagree, although perhaps not here!

As a matter of interest, I first heard Ms Arvantitaki on a jukebox in a bar in Crete a couple of years ago. I liked what I heard back then, but had quite forgotten about her until your mention. Amazing how songs bring back memories...

    Excellent music :!

He is also pulling your leg , on the intro to some songs in and in some songs you hear dogs in the background recorded just as if they where in the neighbours flat I was almost on my way to my neighbour and ask her about the dog...

Louis Armstrong Plays W. C. Handy, Loveless Love at this precise moment.

I was reading Murakami's 1Q84 (recommended for fans of bizarre magic realism) and one of the characters references this recording, and in particular clarinetist Barney Bigard's solo in Atlanta Blues -- had to buy the record.

Well worth it, classic early century blues, recoreded with good sound in 1954. Excellent. But the Barney Bigard solo in that song lasts all of 20 seconds (as the book itself makes clear).
