At the moment Classic FM (London) is playing in the background while I am following the live stream from Microsoft PDC 2010.

Classic music can also be played loud

The Pretty Maids discography. New discovery that I am really enjoying. Melodic rock/metal from the 80's through current. I must have ignored them because the name sounded dumb.

I believe they are from Denmark so maybe you have heard of them?

Yes they are from Horsens. FYI this summer they played a gig in downtown Horsens as a warm up to the ACDC concert later that day.

Band of Joy (Robert Plant), in a playlist along with The Once (Newfoundland trad folk group, with some droning electric guitar on certain cuts, a good match for Band of Joy).

I've been through the old skool hip-hop and I'm listening to Justin Trousersnake. Guilty pleasure :-)

Jimmy Smith& Wes Montgomery: the Dynamic Duo.

Always have liked Jazz, but inevitably return to my Texas Blues and classic rock roots. Lately have been really listening to the great jazz albums of the 50's and 60's, and really love this album.

Can anyone recommend some dirty, funky Hammond Organ sounds to check out?

Just about anything by Jimmy McGriff is great, but I loved his collaborations with altoist Hank Crawford.
