I was reading a cozy police procedural mystery last week, that was set in Notting Hill in London. For some reason it tweaked my memory of the Notting Hillbillies, Mark Knopfler's side project from the 90s. Still sounded really good to me.

Then I watched a documentary on Netflix on George Harrison, and that got me to thinking about the Traveling Wilburys, the rootsy supergroup with Harrison, Tom Petty, Roy Orbison, Bob Dylan and Jeff Lynn. I've always loved the Wilburys, among the last work that Orbison did.

The two bands are kind of similar in some ways, with a rootsy folky sound not very rock and roll. Mind you there's rockabilly especially on the Wilburys.
