    Faun - Luna

Celtic fusion by way of Germany. You could have convinced me it was a new Loreena McKinnitt album except for the German lyrics

The Velvet Underground - The Velvet Underground (45th Anniversary Super Deluxe Edition)

A huge 6 CD release: 3 different mixes of the original LP, a disc of session tracks, and 2 discs of a live show at The Matrix in San Francisco. Going to take a while to get through all of it...

    8. Burning from Lost In The Dream by The War On Drugs in 2014

Not sure what to make of this album. First track reminds me of U2 other tracks such as above sound like Springsteen. Good mix of Rock overall

Smashing Pumpkins - Monument To An Elegy

The latest from The Billy Corgan Show has Tommy Lee sitting in on drums. Oh, and Jeff Schroeder plays guitar. Unfortunately Billy decided he would play the bass in addition to guitar, keyboards and synths. It is the one notably weak spot in an otherwise good album as the bass lines are just a wash of low end pulsing rather than any actual groove.

Take an established blue eyed soul singer and add a dose of synthesisers a la Gary Numan and you get Clues by Robert Palmer (1980). One of his strongest albums.
