I am disappointed that despite rumors, there has not been another "Little Village" CD.

This is one of the rare cds that makes fun to listen from that "Jazz meets Classic" attempt. Besides that this is one old release with pre-emphasis applied.

In this context, I'm fond of Ron Carter's CDs, "Meets Bach" and "Friends"

p.s. I'm a big Ry Cooder fan, and Paradise & Lunch is my favorite!

Jimmy Smith& Wes Montgomery: the Dynamic Duo.

Always have liked Jazz, but inevitably return to my Texas Blues and classic rock roots. Lately have been really listening to the great jazz albums of the 50's and 60's, and really love this album.

Can anyone recommend some dirty, funky Hammond Organ sounds to check out?
