Setting up a receiver with no controller

Hi Guys

I've been thinking of getting a receiver for our bedroom and controlling it using Ipeng.
I have a Touch and a Radio elsewhere in the house.

Obviously since the receiver has no controls can i use ipeng to set it up?

No, at present you cannot set it up with iPeng. I recommend using the free Net::UDAP utility. Search these forums for UDAP and you will find it. The interface makes it look more complicated than it is, which puts some people off. But you should be fine as long as (a) you can follow directions and (b) you ask for help here if you get stuck.

Alternatively, if you have an Android phone I believe you can set up a Receiver with one of the Android SB apps, though I forget which one.
