Question What type of phone do you USE?

Any of you good people know whether there is any indication of an application (app) being written, to enable the squeezebox systems to be controlled via an android mobile phone?

I think that there are 2-3 android apps floating around... been there for months. I think that Squeeze Commander is the most popular.

you can also find apps for Windows Mobile, RIM, the fruit company, Nokia, Palm, ...

There are a few of them:

Personally I am using SqueezeDroid which is okay, I guess: it's hard to say since my Wifi is spotty in the bedroom where I usually use it. I need to fix that at some point...

SqueezeCommander does cost money, but flattermann is active here, so it gets brownie points from me... I'd buy it, but, well, my wifi is sucking where I would use it most.

The app is called a "for sale sign" perhaps?

    Thanks all.

Apparently, I'm also using Android. :-)

BTW: The poll may be more meaningful if the thread title would not alraedy mention Android...

On my rooted Sony Ericsson X10, I have loaded squeezecontrol. Wow wow wow¬! Bliss.

Instantaneous effects result from button presses! Instantaneous total control of too many tunes... at last. Via the worlds best phone (imo) Loaded first time. No FC in 24-hours; the future is looking great!
