Best Bi-amplified desktop monitors for 1,000 bucks?

i have a home office ,basically 10 by 10 feet with a Squeezebox
Touch and Cambridge Dacmagic. Im looking for biamplified speakers
with volume control that will sit about 3 feet from me on a large desk.

I listen to mostly rock, jazz, electronica. Ive read reviews on Adam,Genelec,
Mackie, etc.Sadly I dont live in a area where I can't audition these type of
    speakers(cause noone has them)

I need some suggestions, with my setup,on what speakers would best fit.I need
    speakers with balanced analog inputs.

    Thanks!

For Balanced inputs, I like the Adam Speakers. Big fan of their product line.

The Genelecs are great for rock/jazz...
You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...

I just looked at the Adam specs and they are not
Magnetically shielded . That's a deal breaker as I have lots
Of equipment in that office that could interfere with them .

Phil, your costing me alot of money ! Lol.

How's that? I thought that the purpose of magnetic shielding was to prevent the speaker magnets from interfering with other equipment, most notably CRT displays. Not the other way around.

I believe all Adam speakers can be ordered with Mag Shielding. One just needs to specify that when ordering. The new Adam Artist 5 I saw at CEDIA would be worth waiting for.

Focal Professional CMS40, or if you can afford to go a little above the $1K price point for a pair, the CMS50 is well worth the difference. If you hear the CMS50, you WILL want them. http://www.focalprofessional.com/en/cms-line/

The CMS monitors are shielded, but as JJZolx already pointed out, that shouldn't make any difference unless you have a CRT display within a couple of feet of them. (LCDs are not affected by speaker magnetic fields.)
