When you and the special lady or man in your life are cozied up close and engaging in sweet exercise of the intimate sort, what music do you like to have playing? For me (and my lady), music that enhances the mood is generally something with a good groove, usually mellow, without sudden changes in dynamics (volume-wise; it can be distracting if the music gets very loud very suddenly). Ten albums that occur immediately to me as having been very enjoyable under such circumstances are:
J.J. Cale - 5
Dexter Gordon - Gettin' Around
Dexter Gordon - Round Midnight
Johnny A. - Get Inside
Eric Clapton - Slowhand
Van Morrison - Magic Time
Booker T & The MGs - Green Onions
Fleetwood Mac - Mystery to Me
Gatemouth Brown - Long Way Home
Bob Dylan - Time Out Of Mind
There are certainly others (some from the Pink Floyd, Moody Blues and Alan Parsons catalogs come to mind), but what are some of your go-to albums for the bedroom?
