Hello to all,
I've serched through the forum but couldn't find a complete answer, even if some other seem to have had the same problem...
here is the deal: my pc is on and I use my SB, no problems... I deactivate the SB with the receiver: no problems, it shuts down (no more light on). then later on I shut down my computer and as soon as it off, my SB receiver comes to live again (blue light on)... the only way i got to get in off again is to unplug it... but that's not handy... I tried shutting down my controller also but it doesn't change anything... nor does shuting down my squeezebox server on the computer before turning it down...
is there any way to completely shut down the SB when the pc is off?
thanks a lot

I havent tried this, but I suppose you could connect to MySqueezebox.com before you shut the Receiver down. That should prevent it from panicking when you shut down your SBS.

In short no, only the SqueezeOS based devices completely shut off (Controller, Radio and Touch). Even when "off" the Receiver, Boom, Transporter and SB3 are still connected to the server, this is how they know to "turn on" again. None of these players are actually off, it's just a screen and play state.
[Project Log] Funkstars Digital Lifestyle - HEXUS.Community
In use: 1x Touch, 1x Boom, 2x SB3, 1x Controller
In a box: 1x Radio, 1x (Beta) Controller, 1x Receiver, 1x SB2 wired (silver), 1x SB (black), 1x SliMP3 (with rear shield)
If you have any others, let me know, I'm interested!!
