    Duet + Boom sync issues

Just added a Boom to the network, it connected OK and can stream internet radio and music from the squeezebox server OK.

The duet controller should be able to control the Boom as well as my reciever and I should be able to sync both together but I cannot find anywhere on the duet controller, Boom, or squeezecenter UI where I can do this. In fact the UI doesn't appear to "see" the Boom at all.

I don't know where the issues lies. Duet controller, Boom or squeezecenter

    Any help appreciated

ps. For a small, resonably priced piece of kit the Boom sounds great and if you were thinking of getting one - go for it, you won't be dissapointed.

Are you certain the Boom is connected to the same server as is your Duet?
Maybe Boom is connected to MySqueezeBox.com and your Duet is connected to your local SBS server on your computer?

If you go into settings, you can specify choices that will appear on your home menu. I think I had to specify that "choose player" appear on the home menu. Synchronize is also located under settings.

    Sorted

    Thanks toby10 and ghost rider.
The Boom wasn't connected to the server at that particular time, although I could still listen to internet radio, that's what confused me. All the instructions I read weren't particularly clear.

Selected my squeezebox server on the Boom and it appeared on the duet controller. I'm now sync'd and can control both Boom and receiver from the duet controller.

    Happy days....
