It happens every now and then that tracks of one album (same album name, artist name, album artist name, year, genre, no comment)are listed as two or more albums of the same name on my Duet. I tried re-saving the tags with the same album name, artist name, album artist name, year, genre and cleared any comment, but they would still show up as a few albums after re-scanning. What could be the problem and how can I resolve it?
Thanks.

TRy mp3tag look at the extended tags also see to it that you not have more than one tag format eg FLAC(id3v2) in the same file.
They can have conflicting info.--------------------------------------------------------------------

I have checked. All tags seem to be fine, but the result is still the same after re-saving and re-scanning.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks.

hi
almost sure it is a tagging problem
check itunescompilation and TPE2 tags
clear the cache (delete database) and perform a re-scanSome version of SBServer running on a HP EX490 home server
SBReceiver --> NAD C162+C272 --> DALI IKON 6 (let's call it MidFi)
