Hi, I have the latest version of SqueezeCentre running (7.5.1) on XP Pro machine, all working fine. I have installed SqueezePlay latest Beta both on the same PC as SC and on an other networked computer running Windows 7. Two different behaviours, neither working. SP on XP, running on same PC as SC will start, but when I click on My Music, it attempts to 'Deeside Music Server' and after a while gives up and says that it cannot connect. However SC is running in parallel and connects to the same Deeside Music Server without a hitch. Running SP on a networked PC on Windows 7 just flashes up the interface for less than a second and then disappears, never to be seen again. Can't get it to run there at all. Any suggestions what I may need to try? I have turned of the Windows Firewall etc. but that does not have any effect. IS there anywhere where SP needs to be enabled or allowed ? SP version is 7.5.1 r0. Thanks,
Harry

Hmm, strange, nobody had a comment on this in the last months ...
I have the issue on 2 different Windows 7 PCs when connecting to a 7.5.3 SqueezeServer.
However, they ran for a few days, but out of a sudden, they don't find the server anymore ... But the server is there, other players (SqueezeBoxes and SqueezePlayers) connect without any problems.
On the PCs where this happens, there's no way to get it back working. Uninstall and reinstall (even differnet builds 7.5 / 7.6) does not fix it.

If you are running SP on the same machine as the SBS try using 127.0.0.1 as the library source. This fixed it for me btw.
