Ah - that error is coming from the Logitech plugin. What do you have "use built in formatting" set to?

Yes, it's using the Logitech formatting. But if I switch that off, then I still get the blank pane in the webUI and the message in the log.

No I didn't. Actually I am quite happy because the response times appear to be much quicker than before. The only thing is that the right pane of my SB server doesn't show track/album pictures anymore. I hope someone on this blog could help solving this problem.
Please note that I didn't deinstall SSODS but stopped it. Sofware is still in my server and was wondering if it's ok to deinstall an remove it.

I've just tried this on 7.6 and 7.6 onebrowser - the context menu doesn't allow you to navigate direct from the album or artist entry on either. If you go into the "on spotify" then you can get to the relavent artist. However this is likely to be dependant on the setting of "use built in formatting" as this will select between the context menus created by the plugin and the official logitech support.

OK, indeed navigating into "on spotify" works. When/how have these menus changed? Are they generated by (a new version of) libspotify?

I beleive this is actually dependant on whether you have "use built in formating set" - this selects between using my plugin (which does not offer this) and the logitech one to create the context menu. There is no dependancy on libspotify version.

Sorry - not really. It was simple until the Logitech plugin came along, all you got was mine Then I added some code to allow the two to coexist together with a couple of options for:
always stream via helper - always uses my code for streaming even though Touch/Radio could playback direct
use built in formatting - use logitech formatting code rather than mine

I'm not really sure whether to open bugs for the issues I've posted about, what the bugs should be listed against - onebrowser / plugin? I get the feeling I'm just peeing in the wind if no-one else, (yourself included), can replicate them. Latest one, try to star a track from the webUI.....

I figured out that the context menu of the official plugin depends on whether I connect my Touch to mysqueezebox.com or to my NAS. Is the NAS (equipped with triode's plugin) acting like a proxy?
