Are you saying that the Spotiufy plug in will work on a Synology NAS using SSDOS? I am running 7.5.1 vias SSDOS on a DS210J on DS 2.3 - should I give it a blast? Or should I upgrade to 7.5.3? I've been holding back because I thought it only worked with Intel processors ...
Looking forward to fiddling now ...

Suddenly this message has started display on my Squeezebox Touch: "a premium account is required to use spotify"
I got a premium account, had no problem up to a week ago, think it was after I updated to the last Squeezebox Server.
Anyone had any similar problems?
The problem is just when I try to play a song or playlist, I can see all my playlists and songs.
EDIT: Not sure, but I disabled the new official Spotify plugin and updated manually the firmware of the Squeezebox Touch. And now it works

Triode plug-in on Tiny SB (SB Touch)?
I bought a SB Touch and 2 SB Receivers with intention to play Spotify in 3 different room with the SB Touch's build-in server (TinySB). I realize after many hours in these forums and a lot of "Googling" that the official plug-in only support Touch/Radio even if the Receiver only was synchronized as a "slave" to the Touch. The only solution seems to be Triod's plug installed on a PC or Mac which wasn't the idea from the beginning. I wanted a PC-less system...
Is it possible in any way to install this plug on the TinySB SqeezeServer?
If not now, in the future?
Is there any other options for a PC-less Sqeezebox-Spotify-multiroom experience?

I use a "Ripnas server which feeds my transporter and 2 SB 3's. No need for a PC to rip CD's as it uses its own internal software for ripping and is fully compatible with the Triode Spotify plugin. I also use an IPAD for operational purposes using IPENG HD

The problem occurs as my plugin will try to playback using the official player firmware on Touch or Radio if the server supports it. However this means you need to add your spotify username into MySqueezebox.com. There is an option on the settings page of my plugin to "always stream via helper" which will avoid this.

Triode plug-in on TinySB (Touch)?
Well, RipNAS is very nice but you can buy several Squeezebox touch for the same cost!
The whole idea is to use the on-board facilities in SB Touch without adding new machines that needs to be running 24x7... or maybe a super low energy consuming tiny and cheap device... Or why not make the Triode plugin work on SB touch and forget about all other external solutions?

OK, thanks for the reply, Triode.
I read that you are looking at a solution for ARM-plattforms, just like SB Touch... Don't you think it can work in some way? Can you look at it? It would be fantastic if there could be a solution for that.
I see a lot of other 3rd party plug-ins (Applets) in the Applet-installer menu inside the SB Touch GUI...
