I just got a Zyxel 310 Nas and installed Squeezebox on it. [Quite nice system; better as I has expected.]
Spotify plugin doesn't seem to run on it. [SB server doesn't restart properly after installing Spotify.]
Can this be because the processor isn't arm compatible (enough)?
cat /proc/cpuinfo says:
Processor : Feroceon 88FR131 rev 1 (v5l)
BogoMIPS : 1199.30
Squezeebox information says:
Platform Architecture: armv5tejl-linux
Pity. I love Spotify. Maybe I keep an [empty] squeezebox server on my XP system, only for spotify.

Spotify plugin won't run on Zyxel 310 NAS with SB
Squeezebox Server: Version: 7.7.1 on Zyxel NAS NSA310
Logitech Media Server Version: 7.7.0 with Custom Browse & Triodes Spotify
on Win XP Pro SP.3. All updates.
Squezebox Duet, Android controllers. 100 GB library, 800- Albums, 13,5 k tracks.
Music manager: MediaMonkey. The best music mgr for classical music (much better then iTunes). Now with "RegExp Find and Replace" you even can batch edit tags with regular expressions.

Thanks much, garym and triode for your help. Listening to Spotify now. I'd failed to detach from mysqueezebox, even though it was plain as day there in the instructions... rtfm....

No, the complete output is
~ $ cat /proc/cpuinfo
Processor : Feroceon 88FR131 rev 1 (v5l)
BogoMIPS : 1199.30
Features : swp half thumb fastmult edsp
CPU implementer : 0x56
CPU architecture: 5TE
CPU variant : 0x2
CPU part : 0x131
CPU revision : 1
Hardware : Feroceon-KW
Revision : 0000
Serial : 0000000000000000
How do I see if the processor can handle sse[2] instructions?
Where can I find the old (2.0.4) version ?Squeezebox Server: Version: 7.7.1 on Zyxel NAS NSA310

Thanks for the replies:
Interesting observation. I upgraded to 7.7.1 and I see the same double lines in the logs:
I tried setting some of the logs to debug level reporting (see attachment), but I'm only seeing the lines above.Code:[11-11-12 17:25:44.7505] main::init (354) Starting Logitech Media Server (v7.7.1, r33696, Sat Nov 12 03:01:34 PST 2011) perl 5.008006 [11-11-12 17:25:47.6318] main::init (354) Starting Logitech Media Server (v7.7.1, r33696, Sat Nov 12 03:01:34 PST 2011) perl 5.008006 [11-11-12 17:25:52.6580] Plugins::Spotify::Spotifyd::__ANON__ (78) unable to write log file: /Users/brian/Library/Logs/Squeezebox/spotifyd.log [11-11-12 17:25:53.8246] Plugins::Spotify::Spotifyd::__ANON__ (78) unable to write log file: /Users/brian/Library/Logs/Squeezebox/spotifyd.log

I think it's not running... I don't see it if I do
Is that the right way to verify?Code:ps -aux |grep '.pl'
In the logs I've seen
But check this outCode:[11-11-12 17:01:20.1684] Plugins::Spotify::Spotifyd::__ANON__ (78) unable to write log file: /Users/brian/Library/Logs/Squeezebox/spotifyd.log [11-11-12 17:01:21.5165] Plugins::Spotify::Spotifyd::__ANON__ (78) unable to write log file: /Users/brian/Library/Logs/Squeezebox/spotifyd.log
What else could be causing that unable to write log message? Hmm...Code:Monk-2:~ brian$ ls -ld /Users/brian/Library/Logs/Squeezebox/ drwxrwxrwx 5 brian brian 170 Nov 12 17:01 /Users/brian/Library/Logs/Squeezebox/ Monk-2:~ brian$ touch /Users/brian/Library/Logs/Squeezebox/spotifyd.log Monk-2:~ brian$ ls -l /Users/brian/Library/Logs/Squeezebox/spotifyd.log -rw-r--r-- 1 brian brian 0 Nov 12 17:06 /Users/brian/Library/Logs/Squeezebox/spotifyd.log Monk-2:~ brian$ rm /Users/brian/Library/Logs/Squeezebox/spotifyd.log
