Does that mean you are now seeing Status 3 (Success) in the SqueezeIR>About screen?
It could be that you have inadvertantly turned off the SqueezeIR buttons with the earlier hotkey confusion - go to SqueezeIR>Settings and make sure Buttons Enabled is checked (or use the hotkey; press Home & Back does the same thing) and see if that brings everything back.
It might also be a 7.6 issue, I haven't looked at that version yet although earlier releases of 7.6 weren't a problem.
You shouldn't need to clear the cache as it only means that you will have to do another manual update of SqueezeIR next time you restart your controller for the reasons given before. The clear cache feature really is a last resort for a corrupted cache.
That is more of a worry. Please post your xml, lirc files, and your SqueezeIR settings (default configuaration, use player profiles etc).

Controller Crashes after Loading ConfigFiles from Server
Hey folks,
I got a very strange problem. Now using SqueezeIR 1.0 my Controller (SBS 7.5.4; SBC 7.5.3 r9283) crashes after loading the config files from the server for the server. It starts reboot over and over again, until I do a factory reset.
Sometimes there is no problem and the controller updates the config files and works normally!? With the same config files!
Is there anybody having any idea what is wrong?
I have to admit, that my config files are quite komplex now. Maybe it's just too much for the controller?
Thanks in advance for your help!Last edited by chincheta0815; 2012-03-18 at 01:20.

Controller Crashes after Loading ConfigFiles from Server
Thank you for your effords.
I debbugged my SqueezeIR.xml-file. I messed up some event-tags and corrected the error. I attached the new version.
Nevertheless my problem persists. The controller is restarting over and over again. I tried to get at least some message-logs, but no way. This tiny little "friend" is always faster... Just sometimes there seems to be a god ;o)Last edited by chincheta0815; 2012-03-18 at 01:20.

There are still some errors in your xml:
Line 772 'dvd.stop' should be 'stop' according to the lirc file.
Line 787 'dvd.fwd' should be 'fwd' according to the lirc file.
Line 798 'dvd.next' should be 'next' according to the lirc file.
line 813 'dvd.rew' should be 'rew' according to the lirc file.
Line 824 'dvd.prev' should be 'prev' according to the lirc file.
Line 914 'tv.av' should be 'tv_av' according to the lirc file.
Attached is the corrected version (renamed so that I can upload it). I tried it on my controller and it appears ok. Put it on your SBS server, got to Settings>SqueezeIR>Advanced>Update Configuration and see how you get on...Last edited by indifference_engine; 2011-02-02 at 14:53.

Lirc file for Denon 2809
Hi guys,
I am using a Denon AVR-2809 receiver. There seems to be no lirc file for its remote controls.
Before i go down the path of creating everything from scratch which will take me surely a while given i'm rather novice in this field), I read Stephane was able to create, with doug's help, a working SqueezeIR.xml for more recent Denon equipment users.
If the file could be posted here, i would be extremely thankful and could gladly give it a try.
Thanks in advance,

And in return...
for any help, I'm attaching the strings translation in Italian.
I hope this can be useful to doug.

I have a copy of a pdf file that Stephane got from Denon with loads of ir codes in it. I don't know for sure if it applies to your receiver but Denon are quite consistent accross their product range. I shall put it on the SqueezeIR website with instructions if you give me a few days...
