Hi again,
I'm using "Version: 7.5.1 - r30836", running on a Win7 computer..
I noticed that when opening the URL in a web-browser (testing with IE right now, but acts the same in other browsers too), it asks me whether I want to download the file or open it. If I select to open it, it redirects to a different URL (https://1873526204202820733-a-woodbi...attredirects=0) and displays the xml correctly.. maybe this is what's confusing SBS? I guess Google (seems the site is hosted by them) might have changed something even though you haven't..
Again, thanks for your effort.. loving the applet more and more each day!

One question... is it possible to map events to the scroll wheel of the Duet controller? Couldn't find it in the list of keynames, but it should be possible shouldn't it?

I just switched to a new Synology DS and had to reinstall SqueezeIR, and I'm getting that error too!
When I try to upload the SqueezeIR folder to the Controller, I get this (in WinSCP):I had to install the applet manually to get started.Any idea what's going on??Code:scp: /usr/share/jive/applets/SqueezeIR: No space left on device

Looks like Google has done something to stop my repo from working. Try this one instead and let me know how it goes please
No idea I'm afraid. I assume that the Controller's file system isn't really full? Try the test repo above and see if you can get it installed.Code:http://www.btinternet.com/~douglashill456/squeezebox/repo.xml

Hi all...
What is the simplest way to change profiles, without having to go the SqueezeIR configuration screen?
What I want to achieve is this:
Most of the time I'll use the Duet remote as my universal remote, controlling my TV, amp, and IPTV box. I have a profile set up for this, where I override most of the buttons on the controller to perform my desired functions.
When I occasionally want to use the Duet controller for what it's designed for (controlling the squeezebox player), I would like to quickly change profile to my Squeezebox profile, where most buttons have their default behavior.
From reading the configuration docs, I couldn't see a straight forward way of changing profiles on a key press/hold.. Under the <menus> section, it states that:
So I tried to configure a <target> to one of my buttons, that would enter an empty "dummy" menu, which had the desired <profile> defined. I thought this would make the dummy menu switch to the desired profile, and then I could just exit the menu and have the correct profile loaded.. but it didn't work.Code:<profile> Optional element that determines which profile is in effect when in the menu. If omitted then the currently active profile remains unchanged.
Anyone have a good idea of how to do this? If not, could I suggest there be added a <targetProfile> or similar tag to <events> .. so that we can have buttons change profiles easily?

The default profile is the one that is in effect when you are using the Controller for its normal purpose. If you don't want to go into the configuration screen (easy to do by holding the back+home hotkey combination) then I would set the default profile to the dummy one so that the Controller works as normal when browsing the music library and create a menu that is linked to your universal-remote profile. When you are in the menu the universal-remote profile is in effect when you aren't the Controller behaves as normal. In short, I think you have the right idea but have got it back-to-front.
Maybe a key combination to cycle the default profile through the available options could be useful?
