Hi
I finally took the plunge and got one of these:

with a Medion 500gb USB drive-n-go HD (no power supply needed)
Worked flawlessly so far - quiet, unobtrusive & copes with Squeezeserver streaming (plus a bit of concurrent web surfing etc.) no probs at all.
