Have you got any sort of autoscan running?

In Server Settings -> Advanced -> Rescan Music Library, I have it set to "Look for new and changed music" every night at 3:00am. The scan appears to have run OK last night, although I didn't add any new music files yesterday, so I don't know 100%.

I set that (on 7.6.1), and was still having problems so I disabled that too. Was going to leave 7.6.2 running with no scanning (new way or old way) for a while to make sure that was stable and then try a scan again.

I'm thinking of ditching my IPKG install on my Liinkstation Live ls-chl due to the v old SBS version and go with this.

Based on this comment on the beginning of the thread, am I ok to go ahead and install this?
[EDIT: 9/25/2010, this hack is not currently working with the ARM binaries in the nightly snapshots for 7.6. This is because the latest Perl modules compiled by Logitech have been linked against GLIBC2.7 whereas SSODS provides only GLIBC2.6]

As I'm not especially savvy in installing things on my NAS is there a dummies guide for running through the install?? Also which version of SSODS would I be best downloading for reliability?

    Many Thanks,

    Paul
