One more Bug to work out(my music)

Ok when switching to my music which is from my itunes i cant seem to sellect next song-

    from remote-

    my music>
    artists>
    styx>
    all songs>

then i will select say the song "lights" if i want to hear the next song instead using the remote and pressing the bottom right(>)it just starts the same song from the beginning.... however if im listening to a spicific album it works.

    any ideas?

It's this way on all squeezeplay devices. I can't tell you if it's intentional, only that I confirm that's the behavior- selecting a track from the "All songs" list does not add the rest of the songs like adding a song from an album.

This is intentional the "all songs list" is not a playlist.
But you can play all from it.
    I'll try to explain.

Assuming that you the play all songs in album set.

    If you do this:

    On the controller:

Don't press the center button when selecting "All songs" press Play (right arrow) directly . Then the server cues up all songs in a playlist.
In that playlist you can then skip forward. Or select the desired song the usual way by the wheel from now playing playlist.

    my music> "center"
    artists> "center"
    styx> "center"
    all songs> "play (right arrow)"

if you press the center button it get you a list of all the artists songs but when you are pressing play on a song it cues up only that song.
So this is not a playlist the same way the list of artist all albums is not a playlist. You can add songs one by one with context menu "+" from this list to the now playing playlist

The behavior is a bit overclever IMHO it is consistent with the UI and it gives you two ways of using the all songs list, but it is very confusing.

This could be raised as an enhancement request or bug in bugzilla http://bugs.slimdevices.com/.
If you wan to get the developers attention (forum posts is not the way they don't read everything )
I'm not clear on if this is bug in a traditional sense.
It's designed this way and it works as intended but it's nuts ?

It was a another tread where I answered this, that person has called support and they did not get it

Interesting, I kinda guessed it'd work that way, but I'm not at my duet at the moment, I'm at the touch, and I can't find an easy way to do this on the touch. Press+hold on All songs on the touch doesn't have a context menu...
