I've had my Touch for six days, and I'm pretty impressed. As a touch-screen music player, it's nearly perfect. If I was using it on a desk or bedside table I'd be totally pleased.

Unfortunately I use the touch aspect about half the time, and the remote the other half. The 10' UI experience isn't nearly as polished as the 3' one. I suppose it's to be expected: the product is called the "Touch", and furthermore I'm sure that almost all the development was done with a touch sitting on the developer's desk, not ten feet away across the room. Almost all of the issues can be easily addressed in software, so I think we'll see some big improvements over the coming months. Being a good customer, I filed (or voted on) bugs for all of my issues.

I've only got a couple of major complaints:

*) There really needs to be an option to switch to the remote skin after a timeout.
