Altering the angle of the Touch

I don't think people would disagree that the ability to alter the angle of the Touch would have been of great benefit. Any good methods you are using?
In my case I wanted it just a little more vertical and slipped a spine binder from a brochure onto the rear bracket then cut it to length.

Fortunately it's angled far back so adjustment is typically to lean it further forward. It would be much more difficult to lean it back fruther and keep it stationary when you use it.

I've read here of somebody using legos and blue-tack (I used to know that as fun-tack).

It would have been nice to see it made adjustable, but it would have complicated the design and probably would have been more expensive. I like the fact that there is no wiggle room what-so-ever in the stand. That would have been hard to acheive with an adjustable stand.

The bail bar in the back is removable making the Touch wall mountable. I wonder if it would be possible to loosen the screws and wedge something in there to acheive a different angle without shearing the screws. It would depend on how radically you want to change the angle. I'll have a look when I get home.

There is no adjustment if that is what you are asking.

I used a piece if black weather stripping from Home Depot. Remove the backing tape to make it semi-permanent leave it on to go back and forth quickly. I also cut two pieces and removed the backing tape on both so I could stick them together to double the height to have two different levels.

I placed the rear bar on top 2 foam furniture pads I got at walmart, each is about 3/8" thick and provides just enough angle adjustment to make it ledgible sitting on the couch.

A machinist could make a new bar with a different angle. Course the cost of doing that over the cost of a few rubber feet has me thinking the rubber feet win out.
