    7.5 problems (no music library)

So, I upgraded to 7.5 after being prompted by Squeezecenter to do so. Now I no longer have a music library showing up in the main menu. All I see are Internet Stations, Apps, etc. This is very sad as I like listening to my personal music collection. =(

sounds like you are connected to mysqueezebox.com. Make sure you are connected to your own local server running SqueezeboxServer.

Nope, that's not it. For some reason Squeezecenter just isn't finding my music library, saying this:

    Library Statistics
    No music library configured

My music is all on my NAS so it's a mapped drive (Z which doesn't show up as an option when I hit browse on the Basic Settings -> Music Folder. I don't get it, I even downgraded to 7.4.2 and that didn't help. =(

You must have changed the startup from "run at login" to "run at system start".

Mapped drive letters are not available to windows services, so the server has no idea what "Z:" means. In this case the location of your music library has to be be entered as an UNC path.

Actually, this is part-true. I have my music on a NAS and often (after upgrades,) SBS does not see the mapped drive(s.) (With the SBS set to "Automatically run at login.")

I would suggest you turn-off "Automatically run at login," restart your system, make sure the SBS system can see the mapped drive, and then start SBS.

Also, use the webUI, NOT the "control panel" to set the music library folder.

I'm having same problem. My files are on tethered drive. I've reset library twice via web interface and still doesn't find files when trying to play.
It finds them all to set up artist and album lists but when you hit play just get an error "can't find..."

Frustrating. How do I go back?

D'oh, I feel dumb. Restarting my computer fixed it. Probably should warn users a restart might necessary, heh.
