Maybe so that if you increase the max to a higher number you don't have to rescan?

    Lightbulb Solved using "dynamic playlists"

    Hello

The incredible limitation to 750 songs on the SB Radio can be solved using the "dynamic playlists" plugin. It works by adding the songs one by one, randomly or not, to the actual playlist. Many thanks to Erland.

But I don't like the idea of having to install and configure an external plugin just to achieve a functionality which the most basic iPods offer...

I also have the problem of "current playlist full" message after every song that plays. I'm doing a random mix of my music on the boom, programmed to a preset button. I have 6974 songs currently in my folder, so set the limit to 7000, and it still comes up with the message every song. Very annoying!

    any ideas?

I tried that, and set it to unlimited also. It still says the same. It seems to keep adding stuff, so for example it will say now playing 1 of 6975, then when i check again it will say 'playing 1 of 9347' (more songs than I have)
and will continue adding to the playlist, whilst the message (cannot add) appears at the end of every song.
