    7.5.0 released, by the look...

Ah, there I was just about to upgrade coz I'm fed up of the firmware updating every time I switch twixt mysqueezebox.com and SBS and lo! there tis; 7.5.0.

Mental note to self: "it's only music". "Worst case, you own an iPod and a dock". "Quarter to ten on a school night is the wrong time to start upgrading software".

Yeah, it's in the debian repository as well. I think I'll wait until tomorrow...

    Saw it too.
Unfortunatly, can not get it running on my Synology NAS via SSODS
SqueezeboxServer 7.4.2-30215 is running OK. But after installing 7.5.0 the install log mentions that not all parts can run.

Smooth upgrade to 7.5.0 on VortexBox

I upgraded from 7.4.2 to 7.5.0 on my VortexBox Appliance using the RedHat rpm. Upgrade went very smoothly. Was prompted to update firmware on my Duet Controllers. Had to power down/power up the Controllers to get the update to work. Smooth sailing after that.

The Rhapsody bug that did not add albums to the end of the playlist is fixed.

All working, pleasingly. I can scan thru my Apple Lossless for the first time, even sync'd!

    Good work Logitech.

I also upgraded my Linux server (Fedora Core 8) with the RPM version last night.

Things went very smoothly. My Radio and Controller updated their firmware and the SB3 did not require any update.

Installing the new software and firmware was about a 15 minute exercise and things seem to be working just fine. The only annoyance in the process was having to reset my SB3 preferences and the Radio presets.
