Hi
I use itunes to manage my library and am using the nightly version of 7.4x. I have itunes and SB server on same machine with the music files themselves on a external drive attached to the PC.
There are a couple issues I would like to highlight:
1) Despite what it says about not having to put a path in the itunes config page when you run both itunes and SB Server on the same machine, I have to explicitly tell it where "iTunes Music Library.xml". Otherwsie, it will only scan the playlists and not the entire library.
I do not put any paths in the "Basic settings" page per the instructions since I use itunes.
2) The "Import itunes art" does not seem to work at all even if I explicitly input the paths for all the fields in SB Server
Any idea?
Thanks

I tried...seems to work only with the "default" path...meaning the "C:\Documents and Settings..." whereas I keep my files on simply E:\itunes\itunes music which is an external USB drive.
Do you know where SB Server extract the art to?
Yes, I would appreciate getting that script...thanks!

I haven't used the iTunes feature of SBS but the usual location of the artwork is in each album folder and called cover.jpg.
I am attaching the script. You will need to rename it to SaveItunesArtworkToFile.js and have java installed for it to run. To correctly rename the file, edit it in notepad then save as... (change the Save as type to "All files (*.*) or notepad will add the .txt to the name...)
The icon should change to a yellow script-scroll. Double-click it.
The script is not chatty but it will give you a dialog box when it finishes.
