Question Newbi.. Can't get any sound..

It seems like I have managed to install Sqeezebox Server, ok. I can find my music and choose among the different somgs. And it's playable via the controller. It is also likely that I have contact between the controller and the reciever, though it is possible to turn it on/off from the controller.
The reciever is also vissable in the webb-interfase under the second tab, "players" in Swedish.

Dispite this it is impossible to make the sound pass the reciever via the amplifier out to the speaker.. Can somebody help a newcommer in this area..?

On the controller, make sure you change player to your receiver.
If you do this, and select something to play, does the controller indicate that it is playing?
If you still don't get sound out, make sure your receiver is properly connected to your amplifier. It might be useful to connect something like a CD player to the input you have the Receiver connected to to make sure that you can get sound out that way.

As tcutting wrote, it sounds like you have to choose the correct player. On the controller, use the Choose player option to select which player is controlled by the Controller. In the web interface, in the upper-right corner, left of the Logitech logo is a drop-down menu. From there you can choose the which player is controlled by the web interface. Lycka till!

This sentence says less than a list of audio equipment.

    Smile Problem solved

I found the problem described on logitech's forum and the solution was unpleasantly easy... When reseting the reciever you can hold the button more then 3 seconds. After 3 seconds you reset the reciever but if you hold the button 6 seconds the flash increases in frequens wish indicates that also the soundchip.. This was obviously my problem.. After thre sessions of 5 hours without finding any solution, this made may day.. (night..)
