Hi,
I just build a new PC, and before I transfer Squeezebox Server over to it, I wanted to see if we've made any traction on a cheap, low-power dedicated computer to run Squeezebox Server?
What happened to the Sheevaplug?

What do you mean "what happened"? If you search the forums you will find a number of us successfully using Sheevaplugs or Pogoplugs. Unfortunately, you will also find reports of things not quite working that are not universally reproducible. In general, though, it works. In my case, it is a Pogoplug with Plugbox Linux.

I say 'what happened' because I did some googling for Sheevaplug and didn't see a good place to buy.
However, I just came across the Squeezeplug Wiki...this looks very interesting.

It's not clear whether this supplier is in the US, but at least the prices are quoted in some kind of $$ (the Fit-PC/Vortexbox is the 500GB MicroNAS on this page: http://shop.smallgreencomputer.com/main.sc

This Dell box is rather cheap at $299. It's no Sheevaplug, but I could have it up and running in about 10 minutes.
