Squeezebox Server wont start

I just tried to uninstall and upgrade SBS, I reloaded the SSOTS QPKG on my NAS and then followed the instructions to install the tar ball on the SSOTS interface (192.xxx.xxx.:9099 etc). The installation was successful but it refuses to start. The output from the server log is below (i had to cut off a lot becuase it was too big to post!)

Ok after much trawling of interweb, i found this little nugget tucked away on the QNAP forums:

So SSOTS 4.2 is incompatible with SS 7.4.2!! Maybe its just me but are these two pieces of software not designed to work togther. Nowhere is this vital piece of information highlighted anywhere on Logitech's site. Seems fundamental to me... ah well, installed SSOTS 4.6 and all is well.
