I have FreeNas installed on a HP Thin Client machine. And everything is working. But I just wanted to use this as a server with no additional hard drives attached. I installed the software on the internal flash module. How do I get this to search out side of the freenas on to somewhere else on my network. When I browse it only shows the slimnas folder I created.
Thanks

Squeezebox Server Freenas MusicDirectories
You'll have to ask around the FreeNAS forums to find out if and how you can mount those "outside" sources.

Did you ever get this working?
Hi Moochman
I have hit the same problem on my thin client freenas + squeezebox server install.
Did you ever find a way to mount those network music stores onto the freenas server?
Any help much appreciated!

FreeNAS can only access USB-drives. Not network-drives.
