Q: Is album art automatically downloaded by Squeezeplay?

Hi team,

I have a very simple question. Today I opened Squeezeplay on mu daughters PC and browsed to a directory (holding MP3's of a full album) through Music/Music folder because these new songs were not yet indexed in the library.

I chose a random song fromthe album directory - Squeezeplay started playback. After a couple of seconds Album Art started showing up. There is no album art in the directory, i have never downloaded this art, no .jpgs are present.

Q1: So my question is, is Squeezeplay fetching album art from the Internet based on album name and artist?

If yes, I failed to find this feature described in any release notes or documentation.

No.

SBS will grab art from tags or cover.jpg (and folder.jpg and...) files.

There is probably embedded cover art within the mp3 files.
