From wireless to powerline

I am getting horrible rebuffering issues with my Boom over wireless so trying to use Powerline Ethernet. This did not seem to improve situation, especially when streaming Apple Lossless music files. I note from the setting that wireless signal strength is at 21% - could it be that the Boom is still trying to use wireless? How do I tell it to use the Ethernet connection instead?

Press and Hold the Back key to get to the setup menu. One of the first stages in the set up (which you can scroll to) is the connection method. Select ethernet here.
