When I play FLAC files on the Duet, the song stops after about 30 seconds and starts again after about 20 seconds, thus splitting the song in several pieces. I run the squeeze server software on a NAS, which is connected by a wire to the receiver. Any idea how to solve this?

Tony

I had a similar problem, I fixed it by rebooting the receiver

This might be a buffering problem. This happens with FLAC files on my NAS if I stream them as MP3s. The NAS has to convert the FLACs to a wav file and then to mp3s before it streams it to the squeezebox. This overpowers the cpu in the NAS. If I stream directly as FLAC the problem goes away.
In Squeezeboxserver:
settings-advanced-file types set Flac to stream as Flac
settings-player-audio(top tab) Bitrate limiting set to 'no limit'
