I am trying to use Wave Input. I installed the plugin, rebooted, and now it appears as an active plugin in Settings->Plugins. But how do I use it? I can't see it anywhere. I also can't see a Plugin menu anywhere (not even in Settings->Players->Menus). Running SBS 7.4.1 on Vista with 2 SB3s.

In Squeezebox Server 7.x the wave input plugin doesn't have a UI, you just add a favourite with the correct format, see the wiki page:
http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/WaveInput_pluginYes, it will. Yes, all of them. Yes, SoftSqueeze as well. What ?
I SAID ALL OF THEM !

Perfect! had to resintall sound drivers on my Dell but now works.
People talk about reducing the latency by reducing the buffer size to say 8192. Can't see how to do this though. I have located a couple of files called custom-convert.conf and I added "-o 8192" to the PCM line, but it makes no difference. Any idea how to set this? And the compression?
