    I already posted this on the Spicefly forum too, but I'd like to ask you guys to shed a light too
    I have quite a lot of compilations with Album Artist set to "Various", but different Track Artists. Block Artist repeating is set to 20 tracks, but somehow this doesn't quite work out. I'll get for instance a Whitesnake track from a "Rock ballads" compilation, followed immediately by a Whitesnake track from "Live, in the heart of the city".
    Is it somehow possible to ignore the Album Artist for mix creation?

    After recently discovering MusicIP which is working fine I'm intreagued by the Sugarcube for the thought of pick a track and away you go mixes.

    I've donated and have the install parameters which installs v3.02 which as I understand it is fine for my 7.6.1 squeezecentre and SQLite.

    Well it looks like it has installed correctly. I have the new realtime spicefly sugarcube icon and I have enabled it under the player settings for Squeezeplay as a test for now.

    It just will not work, you start a track playing and all you get are constant "playing next - the same track name" and it just stops after the single track.

    I get the following in my server log, so it would appear to be a miss somewhere.

    You should have been given a user name and password to access the Spicefly site, use these and login, then you can get SugarCube 3.50 which works fine with 7.6.1

    Good stuff ! Now you can start tweeking the parameters to get the mixing to your taste. I find the live view in the GUI very helpful, the number of tracks shown is set in the MIP mix parameters. There are some discussions in the Spicefly forum that may be of interest.

    Was very impressed actually, first track I picked was REM obscure acoustic track and it instantly followed it with an obscure acoustic Beck track from Sea Changes! Going to have some fun with this one!

    Red face

    3 days in and absolutely love this plugin!! Why have I not been using it before. It works an absolute treat and I cannot fault it. I work from home a few days and it's so cool just to click your seed track and see where it goes. Gone from Genesis to Elvis Costello in 6 moves this morning ... LOL

    I know I should get out more ;-)

    Stop sugarcube from adding songs

    How do I stop sugarcube from adding songs when I am in the mood to listen to particular tracks?

    Two options;
    1) Disabled it via the player menu or sbs web gui, this is per player so you can still have Sugarcube adding songs on playerA but be disabled on playerB

    2) Use the Dynamic Queuing option, then Sugarcube will only pick a track if your playlist is going to end. e.g listening to track 7 of 7. If you are listening to track 5 of 7 it wont queue up a track

    You could do what I do - just queue what you want to "play next" and leave the SugarCube track at the end. Sugarcube will take over again when your manually added tracks are finished playing. (I guess that is with the Dynamic Queueing Cparker referred to.) It's great because you can still hand-pick stuff, but the music keeps going so you don't have to think about "what next?" until you are ready to.
