Hey Logitech!
Here is refresher on customer relations; this is the stuff we want to hear from you.
- We acknowledge there is a problem with our server capacity / code
- Fixing the problem is our top priority
- We plan to fix the problem in X days (whatever is a reasonable timeframe)
- In the meantime, here (link) is a quick workaround which solves most problems (e.g. local server)
Do not let the Squeezebox fail!

No issue with your comment but look at the customer side.
We have Mickey's one off statement then nothing whilst people suffer
My comment was about perception of Logitech (albeit in your 'kettle pot' style) - you have long term experience, the new users have in many cases < 2 months. Not good relations.

I'm guessing the only way that Logitech will be able to fix this, is to install more hardware racks to cover the increased demand in Europe. The USA servers are behaving completely fine, but then there's two of them to handle the load.
Temporary Fix:
Tell your European Squeezebox Radio/Duet to connect to the USA servers:

Good Point
I would like to restate also the fact that during the "Thanksgiving WE" mySB.com outage the SB classic never had any problem connecting, while it was almost impossible with the duet controller/receiver.
While I have not noticed any more mySB.com outage for me in Belgium since then, the problem apparently is still hitting random customers in EU.
I hope someone from Logitech who cares about the customers paying their salary is watching this forum. It would be a shame to flush an excellent software/hardware concept down the toilet because services are being managed in the most amateuristic way.

Amazon didn't publish review
I too tried to post a polite, factual (but negative) review on the Radio on Amazon.uk, but they simply didn't publish it. Too many vested interests it would seem. I wonder how many of the products with 4 or 5 stars on Amazon look so good because most negative reviews get 'lost'?

MickeyG said in this tread that the all most all problems where solved.
http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=72502
But that is not true, i am from the Netherlands, and a lot of people on my forum have the same problems.
Cannot play any station trough the software.
Cannot ad any favorites.
Clicking on local station a got stations from Sweden or Norway.
Removed all my squeezboxen and assign them again, nothing Nada.
So Logitech there is more work to do!!!Greetings Henk:
Webmaster from the Harmony and Squeezebox Forum Holland.
User off: Classic, Duet, Radio and Touch.
And a bunch off Harmony's.

You are correct. There are hardware and software fixes that can be done to our MySqueezebox.com rack supporting Europe. The best fix is always more hardware.
It will take time to put the hardware in place -- it's not rented or leased equipment.
The temporary fix above will work just fine. The trip across the Atlantic to those servers should not be noticeable.

Thank you for reporting your problems. I am in California, so I do not see your issues. AFAIK, the European MySqueezebox.com servers are running OK. It is a mystery to me why you or others in the Netherlands are having issues.
Can you list the specific steps, including the specific stations you've failed to access?
