    Please let me inform you that in Austria where I live (yes, that is in Europe ), I have serious problem with www.mysqueezebox.com and my new Squeezebox Radio unit. The problem is far from solved!
    Keep on working, or the unit will be returned to the shop within the 14 days after Christmas (that's the deal I have got)

    Hm, you're right. It worked for me in the morning the last days and today as well, but right now my Radio refuses to connect (no error message, simply nothing happens). My SB Classic connects though.
    Last time MYSB was down I had to reset factory settings twice to get the Radio back to life.

    Angry Connectivity in Germany

    Hi,
    I live in Germany and connectivity really sucks here. I got the Squeezebox in November and had several days of outage so far. It's really unreliable. Right now it's not working, again!!! I'm very disappointed (especially since I found sound quality, looks, and other factors of the machine great, but it's all useless if I can't listen to my stuff!)

    Logitech Support - you saw this coming and didn't do anything about it? "Moreover, Squeezebox owners love listening to internet radio stations and services on the weekend." - This was a SURPRISE to you? Are you out of your minds?

    I'm really annoyed at Logitech right now and if this doesn't get resolved, I'm going to blog and twitter the hell out of this. This is a good product and it deserves better management.

    Most importantly, while this problem persists, could you please give us DAILY and CURRENT updates re: server connectivity problems in Europe? WHEN do you suppose the service will be stable again? PLEASE TELL US!

    not working again

    31st 10:56 Berlin time. Login from northern Germany is not working again!!
    Thought this was fixed!

    Situation: 1 1/2 hour ago I started both, the controller and the receiver. Started to play the top 100 from Napster. Soon the controller lost connection while the receiver still continues to play while I'm writing this.

    The controller tells me even after several restarts, that my network is OK, it pings mysqueezebox.com and gives an IP address. BUT THE REGISTRATION FAILS!!!

    I will be polite now and therefore I don't write down what I do think now....

    Anyway, here is a remark to Ghostrider. This product is all about getting music from the internet in a CONVENIENT way without starting a PC or laptop (controller, can be carried around etc.). If I want to listen to my own music, I connect my laptop to the stereo, play a CD - or play a good old vinyl.

    Update: Haha - now the controller is registered - but doesn't transfer any directory, radio stations, Napster etc.

    Useless!!!!!

    I live in Sweden and I am not sure whether my problem relates to this. My controller is having serious problems connecting to mysqueezenetwork.com. I either get a home screen with only a few menu items (e.g. no favorites item, or what is currently playing is shown, etc), or the controller says it cannot connect at all.
    There is no connection problems within my home network at all.

    If the sq controller is able to connect at all, it may very well take up to half a minute for the duet to respond to for example volume changes.

    Can I get some hints on what this can be?

    These problems started to happen for me after the upgrade to 7.4.

    For now, my controller is virtually useless.

    Received the phone support surprisingly quickly. Told the guy about the problem. It is well known. No timeline for a solution announced....

    I wonder, if SONOS has the same problems...

    ARGHHH logitech. This is an INTERNET RADIO!!! The weakest link is your servers at the moment.

    The real joke is that my Squeezebox Classic can connect while the Radio can't. So the whole server load explanation is at least not fully true. They messed things up with the new SqueezeOs stuff and are either not willing to fix it or not able to. This is really upsetting.
