    genre tag missing from AAC files

    - where in the registry? i can't find it in mine....?

    not sure this is needed - if the auto setting works, and is default,
    most will never use the specific location setting - so requiring the
    full filename gives most flexibility

    just repro'd it and captured logs for bugzilla. same problem when
    starting from command line. did you restart the service and wipe the
    cache?

    the server checks here:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\Shell
    Folders

    then looks for "My Music", or "Personal" and tries to find "my
    Music"\iTunes\iTunes Music Library.xml or "Personal"\My Music\iTunes\iTunes
    Music Library.xml

    that is true, but the main reason for the setting is so that Linux users can
    access their itunes library. This is not something that can be done
    automatically as there is no default locations for itunes under linux.

    I did, but the log should give me what I need to know.
